Mo Kalaikai was one of our first participating community artists in our CARE Project pilot in December 2014. Today, he is an employee of Worknet as our Artist in Residence. Mo illustrates our inmate case studies, our cognitive skills training materials, draws designs for the women at WCCC to use in their quilling projects, and assists with other artistic special projects. Mo has an extensive portfolio of drawings he has created over the years. The blank card images in this collection are some of his more popular and requested items by customers. Mo was born in Aiea, raised in Waipahu, and graduated from Kahuku High School. He is a self-taught artist and his drawings are made of charcoal, pastels, graphite crayons, color pencils, inks and markers. Part of the proceeds from the purchase of his artwork will go to the WorkNet CARE Project that helps artists with their transition from prison back to the community.
